Bio
Chris Ruble,
born in 1984 in the small country village of Reedsville, PA, began singing
with a traveling gospel ensemble, InSpirit, at the age of four. He has been playing
piano since the age of six and grew up learning and loving country music.
Now an accomplished pianist, Chris plays keyboard on his CDs and in his
performances as a country music artist and Inspirational vocalist. He
writes and publishes his own music, and has been singing professionally
for seven years.
Chris has a large following of country music fans in central Pennsylvania
where he sings the latest country hits as well as his own original music.
He is a widely acclaimed contemporary christian and country gospel singer
who also performs concerts in many central Pennsylvania churches.
Chris was a trumpeter in his high school marching and concert bands. As
a member of the high school choir, he was honored by appointments to high
school state choral festivals, winning first place in the State in his
junior year and second place in his senior year.
Chris competed in True Value Showdown Competitions and sang at the Good
Morning American Karaoke Marathon in New York city in 2001. Competing
in the State Colgate Country Showdown led Chris to Hershey Park, PA, where
he sang during the past four years. Chris performed in Nashville at the
Country Music Association International Festival in 2005. He won top honors
as the Amateur Idol at the Clearfield County Fair Talent Contest in 2005.
Having a solid foundation in classical music training and having stood
in the Winner's Circle of numerous county, state and national music contests,
Chris was honored by being appointed a Talent Show Judge at the 151st
Juniata County Fair and the 114th McClure Bean Soup in 2005.

- Chris has appeared
three consecutive years at McVeytown's Country Memories Day, and will
be appearing at Lewistown's Victory Park Summer Concert Series for the
4th consecutive year in 2006.
